Graduate Assistant - USC Asian Pacific American Student Services
June 2011 - Present
The Asian Pacific American Student Services serves to educate, engage, and empower Asian and Pacific American students. As the graduate assistant, I directly planned and coordinated the Asian Pacific American Student Welcome for over 250 incoming freshman and transfer students; assessed and revamped the peer mentoring program, Positive Experiences, Enriching Relationships (PEER); and contributed to a full assessment of various APASS programs.
Special Programs/Area Liasion - USC Office for Residential Education

As the Special Programs/Area Liaison (SPAL) for two school years, I served in two different capacities for each year. As the Recruitment, Selection, and Training SPAL, I was directly involved in the Resident Advisor and Graduate Staff recruitment and selection - including marketing, application processing, interviewing, and selection.
As the South Residential Area SPAL, I support the professional and personal development for 3 Residence Coordinators and 21 Resident Advisors. Specific projects include: update of area judicial review process, professional staff development and training, and extensive administrative support.
Graduate Assistant - USC Marshall School of Business, Undergraduate Programs
August 2010 - May 2011
Under the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Programs, my duties as the Graduate Assistant spanned four departments - the Undergraduate Programs Office, the Undergraduate Admissions office, the Undergraduate Academic Advising Office, and the Undergraduate Student Services Office. Specific duties included: providing assistance to students, staff, faculty, and visitors; overhaul and redesign of Student Services website; design and implementation of a monthly department newsletter.

USC Campus Activities - Leadership Programs
Fall 2011
In collaboration with the Office for Residential Education's Leadership Floor, I assist in evaluating the programming efforts by the resident advisors. The Leadership Floor targets first-year residents and encourages them to become better student leaders on campus. Using the Social Change Model for Leadership, residents begin to learn what type of leader they are and how they can become active members of their communities. Specific programs include: a Leadership Fair, Leadership 101, and applying leadership strategies outside of college.

USC Asian Pacific American Student Services - Asian American/Pacific Islander Leadership Development
Fall 2011
As a facilitator for the Critical Issues in Race, Class, and Leadership Education (CIRCLE) program, I assist in educating students on a variety of critical issues facing the Asian Pacific American community. I directly advise eight undergraduate teaching assitants in forumlating and implementing weekly lesson plans, and assist in their development as peer leaders. I facilitate activities that promote critical thinking and analysis of social issues and identity development.
